How to Add Tasks to a Case#

This topic provides step-by-step instructions for adding tasks to a case in TheHive.

Procedure

  1. Find the case where you want to add tasks.


  2. In the case description, select the Tasks tab.

  3. Select .


  4. In the Adding a task drawer, enter the following information:

    - Group *

    The category your task belongs to. Tasks can be visually grouped by group for easier navigation. If the group doesn't exist, it will be created automatically.

    - Title *

    The name of the task, visible to users in the task list.

    - Mandatory *

    Specifies whether the task is required. Turn on the toggle to make it mandatory.

    - Description

    Additional details about the task. It appears when users view task details.

    - Assignee

    The person responsible for completing the task.

    - Flag this task? *

    Highlights the task for all users in the organization.

    - Due date

    The task’s deadline.


  5. Select Confirm.
