How to Remove an Attachment from a Case or an Alert#

This topic provides step-by-step instructions for removing an attachment from a case or an alert in TheHive.

Use this procedure to remove attachments you added manually or that were previously included in case or alert descriptions, summaries, or task logs.

Required permissions

  • Only users with the manageKnowledgeBase permission can manage attachments at the organization level in TheHive.
  • Only users with the manageCase/update and manageAlert/update permissions can add and remove attachments at the case and alert levels in TheHive.

Remove an attachment from a case#

  1. Locate the case where you want to remove an attachment.

  2. In the case description, select the Attachments tab.

  3. Select next to the attachment you want to remove.

  4. Select Remove.

  5. Select OK.

Remove an attachment from an alert#

  1. Locate the alert where you want to remove an attachment.

  2. In the alert description, select the Attachments tab.
