How to Add or Remove Tags

This topic provides step-by-step instructions for adding and removing tags from a case, an alert, or an observable in TheHive.

Add tags

Add taxonomy tags

1. Find the case, the alert, or the observable where you want to add tags.

2. Hover over the tags and select on the right.

   

   Can't find the button?

   The button appears only if at least one taxonomy is active. Contact someone with admin-level permissions to activate taxonomies.

3. In the Select tags from library drawer, select the relevant taxonomy and the tags you want to add.

4. Select Add selected tags.

Add custom tags

1. Find the case, the alert, or the observable where you want to add tags.

2. Click the empty space at the end of the tag list.

   

3. Enter your new tag.

4. Press Enter or select the suggested value.

5. Select Confirm.

Remove tags

1. Find the case, the alert, or the observable where you want to remove tags.

2. Select the tags you want to remove.

   

3. Select Confirm.
